Happy Mid-sommar Holiday

I hope you are enjoying your holidays. It’s mid-summer holiday in Sweden.
Swedes celebrate mid-summer every 19th of June. It marks the longest day of the year.

They travel home to celebrate it with their family.
They celebrate fertility and perform fertility dance for a young couple.
They perform the frog dance.
They eat herrings; raw fish. It smells so bad but it tastes good.
And yes there is a lot to eat and drink, they drink lots of alcohol. Yeah, we love to drink.
Unfortunately, the weather was very cold and I don’t understand why it’s called mid sommar when it is still chilly outside❄.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the holiday. I am looking forward to my holidays.
