Permit. When you have gotten your travel permit for study here in Sweden. Make sure you don’t forget it especially if you are coming from a non-EU country. Your permit card is very important and you need to put it in your suitcase so you don’t forget or lose it.
Last two weeks we celebrated the DUCAS Ninth Annual Africa Day in Dalarna University, Falun. The program kicked off with a lecture on “Images of Revolution: a short political history of South Africa in photographs” by Dr Nick Shepherd, Associate Prof., University of Cape Town, South Africa. Dr Nick Shepherd is from South Africa.
After the two hours lecture, we went for the traditional Africa Days Dinner for invited guests and students at the VIP-Lodge very close to the Ski jump in Falun Lugnet.
Hello, people, I thought to share this with you. This morning I left my apartment in Bristen to school for a lecture by 10 am. Immediately I stepped out I noticed it was very cold. Luckily for me, I always have my gloves and head cover in my bag so I quickly covered myself. Hint: always have your gloves, head cover, an extra coat or sweater in your bag because of the funny weather here in Sweden. It can change anytime.
The weather is already changing gradually some days it is very cold or wet or rainy. Last two weeks it snowed in Borlange and also here in Falun.
I looked out of my window and noticed that it is dark already and it is 2:39 pm on my watch, but the weather looks like it is 7 pm already. The darkness has taken over the city so early.
